Tonight, when I went out to get the newspaper, I found this huge box next to the front door. Man, it was heavy and when I looked at the weight on the shipping tag - it said 49 pounds! What in the world?

Hauled it inside, looked at the label and found it had been sent by Quinn McCarthy. Quinn had just stopped in a couple of weeks ago – so I wondered what he would be sending me! Opened the box to find this huge piece of Black Ash! Wow!

Will have to sit on this one for a little bit and figure out the best way to use the wood. Was thinking a large HF but then, because of the size, I could get 4 normal HFs! Ah, the pressure! :D

Thanks Quinn! :D

"...because of the size, I could get 4 normal HFs!"

Or maybe it's time for you to break into the giant NE bowl thing...

I guess the rich just get richer.... there seems to be a pattern developing here..If you like to support your educational system is small ways, this might be the month to buy a couple powerball, or similar lottery tickets.
I seem to know more about shawn lane and black oak arkansas, than the actual wood. Im sure you'll come up with something brilliant! Kudo's to the generous benefactor.

Hope you find something nice inside.
