Mesquite Bird Bath

This is a small piece of Mesquite sitting on a rosewood stem. It reminds me of a bird bath. Little bit of dye, oil and buffed wax finish.

That's a cool shape. It would be great as a candle holder. I'm not sure what's happening at the junction point of the two woods... Is that a burn line? Great job.

William, really a neat idea! Never really thought of mesquite and rosewood, but the little bit of dye kind of pulled them together quite well.
