A few weeks ago I posted asking for smaller storage bottle ideas for BLO and mineral spirits. A great Creeker ame through and I have some great containers now. But I was wandering through Wally World a couple of days age and found the container below. It's meant for beverages but it's stainless steel and has a screw on top so I grabbed one to try out. Holds about a pint I think. Only $2 at big blue W.

I've bought bottles/droppers/dispensers from this place, before:

It's a surplus shop, so the inventory always changes, but the prices can be amazing. For instance, these are $0.35/ea:

There are similar ones sold in camping stores for carrying white gas. They're bigger than the one you picture, but otherwise the same. Dunno what plastics are used in the cap of either product, but one spec'd to hold gasoline might better handle finish solvents than one spec'd for water.

One word of caution. Label the container so everyone knows what is in it. There is nothing more dangerous than an unlabeled container of liquid. You might know what is in it, but no one else will if you aren't around.

That was the first thing my wife said when she asked me what I was going to do with it. :)
