nothing fancy, I have to build at the level Im at and comfortable with.
so this is about where Im at.
AFter I finished the bedroom furniture, I went and made my son some dining room furniture.
Table is very heavy, all oak, 95 % white oak. approx 300 lbs.
6 chairs total,(chair cushions, 2 inch foam, bunting, stapled on 1/2 ply, purchased materials from local craft store) just havent transported them all to his home.
All pieces were brushed and rubbed with BLO, 4-5 days dry time then some poly. I dont own spray equipment, probably another step Ill take up the ladder in the future. Some shots of each individual piece, and how it looks together.(table is 73 inches long, buffet/server top 60 inches)

No need to apologize for your skill level. That is a really nice looking set. Your own design? I like it.

No plans, just built it on the fly.
drew up measurments and went by that.

I really like the style of the chairs, very clean lines.

I think it all looks great and a really nice job, some day I may try to make a chair or to but that is down the road a ways.
