Hi All,
A while back I found some oyster shell right behind my house...Im 100 miles from ocean...I cleaned and bleached them real well. I know there is some dark grains in them but has anyone ever used them in any way as inlay or fill in for voids or have any suggestions??? I have crushed some into fine powder....Thanks, Mike

Mother of pearl is often used for inlay and veneering work. It is oyster shell, more in sheets than ground up.
