This is a blank that had a major blowout when I drilled it. I turned it round and before I got it to size I infilled it with turquoise. My wife immediately took and put it in her purse. Win some you loose some, and some just get ripped off! Oh well at least I was able to get my new lathe. Enjoy Russell.

pens getting ripped off is a new phenomenon i guess. My wife gets more pens ripped of than I care to say. But at least if we ever see them we will know who made them.

I think you did a very good job on filling but I am not sure that I like the color difference. But that is just a personal thing on my part.

Nice way to save a great piece of burl! Even if you do have to sneak a peek when your wife is using it. :D
Well done! I like the way you used the larger pieces of turquoise, rather than just powder.
