Some of the best examples of spalted wood that I have seen. How about some details on the wood species and vessel size and finish methods.

My favorite vessel though is the HF. Love the onion shape.

they are all maple.

the fisrt one is 14by 6 spalted.
the second one is 11by8 .
the third one is6.5 by4.5 ambrosia.
the forth one is 10 b y5 spalted maple croutch.
all are finish with 3coats wop then triple buff final being ren wax.

I'm fascinated by the second one - is it a black and white photo or did the wood come out that grey color? It's beautiful, both the color and the shape.
