Does anyone know of a saw etch guide online? I picked up a rip saw over the weekend that looks like a copy of disston #7, but some unscrupulous dingy took the medallion and replaced it with a plain sawnut.

Full nib and all, arrow straight, but i can only tell it had (or barely has left) an etch, and not what the etch is.

Tote is the same general shape as a #7, but a little different in that the proportions of the grip are not quite the same. I don't believe it's a replacement tote, though. Too well done even if not quite as nice as an old 7, and very tight grain. If the tote was a little more like the 7s I have, I'd assume it's a 7.

First decent saw I've seen at the local flea market in 2 years. Seller had a pile of saws for $3 each and I was looking for scraper/scratch stock fodder, but this one is a little too nice to cut up even if it's generic.
