Hi all!

Some weeks/month ago, someone posted a *.cdr to cut out a small box of paper...

I put this idea into a small programm:

frag-den-spatz.de/shop/boxgenerator/index

add www. at the beginning and .html at the end

* You need an newer webbrowser (e.g. firefox) who understands the "canvas"-element, javascript
* type in your dimensions (mm)
* preview on your screen
* click button to download as SVG and save
* import into coreldraw or other...

tested with Firefox 3 and Coreldraw X3

I'll take a look at it thanks for your post. By the way there are quite a few designs if you do a search on 'packaging templates' on a google search.

Gerd, great little bit of programming there buddy, it works an absolute peach! I think with your obvious skills you should look at the box making and see if you can't make it to work as quick as your current one.

Gerd

I agree with the others, great web site.

In order to stick with the rules I disabled the link but encourage others to type in the necessary prefix and suffix to have a look.

Hopefully before the holidays. They seem pretty cool.

When I was doing charity golf tournaments I used to print out a custom
design boxes
for the sleeve of golf balls that each player recieved, these were always a hit.

I guess on this I was thinking on the box instead of out of the box!:p

If i understand this correct: Next week, after debugging the paperboxscript (thanks to Robert Walters), i will show you a script that produces fingerboxes. My first test looks fine ;-)

Guten Morgen Gerd :)

Hm ... that makes me think of something ;) how about a little script that makes these http://www.faltwerk.de/formen.html and you'll be the Copperfield under the box makers

Cheers, Andrea :D

Well done Gerd, I like the way that the main box pieces remain grouped when you ungroup all. Small thing but a great touch, well done. Definitely bookmarked that one!
