Does anybody recognize this saw?

At first I thought it was a hacksaw, but if you look at the teeth, there's no way they're for metal cutting. Maybe it's a meat cutting saw? Or, it really is a general use woodworking saw.

It is a very unusual saw and since it was only about a $1, I grabbed it for a souvenir. If anyone knows what it is, I'd appreciate it for curiosities sake.

Although you may get an answer here you are more likely to get more info if you pst in the Neanderthal area, those folks breathe handtools.

Not sure, looks a little like a weird (strange curve in the frame) bow saw used for trimming tree limbs.

Hmm, could be, did not think of that.

Looks like a saw my plumber used to cut PVC pipe. Hard to tell the scale though.

I'm not sure of the scale of those teeth, but there's a good possibility that's a saw used for cutting drain pipe, either lead or cast iron. Either of those don't require the same fine tooth set that steel does.
