Thought I would post some things that I finally finished this weekend. They are in no particular order,a black walnut vase turned spindle wise,a box elder vase and last but not least an ash bowl.

The BW vase is 10" by 6" in diameter by 3/8" thick

The Box elder in 8" by 5" by 3/8" thick

The ash bowl in 6.5" by 3" tall by 1/4" thick

Sorry about the quality of the photo's,I have a point and shoot and it does not focus sharply.Lighting I'm working on.
Thanx,Greg

Glad you got some shop time. I like the form and finish on the ash bowl. The open mouth vase forms are nice, too... That's a shape I want to explore at some point.

Greg, you made good use of the shop time! Really interesting look to that walnut - does have that Ambrosia look to it in the sapwood. Nice work on all three.

All are nice turnings, but the ashe bowl really caught my eye; the foot and lip treatment accentuates the form.
