Wear them. Today I was applying poly to a tabletop. My reading glasses slipped, and I went to grab them while holding the brush and can of finish one ineach hand. The poly splashed up in my face.
Luckily I shut my eyes tight, and remembered some paper towels nearby. I wiped up what I could. I used waterless hand cleaner applied with a paper towel to dilute and remove the poly from my face. Then I stood in the shower for fifteen minutes and washed my face with soap. I got my eyelashes unstuck.
What a freak accident. Had it not happened to me, I would tend to disbelieve how it occured. I guess I have to get some safety classes with readers built in. I can't preach safety, but this is what happened to me.
