Turncrafter Commander 12" Variable Speed Midi Lathe?

I'm I right in thinking that the price on this lathe has increased over the many months turners have been waiting for the first one to ht the market? I will be interested in what turners think of it when they finally get their hands on one. I do hope that the price doesn't rise more than it is now.

I don't know about the price. But I sure do like the idea of small lathe with that type of capability. I think I may be a transient for a while and trying to move a big lathe is not appealing. Unless of course, someone out there wants to just give me one.

I've been watching this one since late fall last yr, and I think the price has remained the same. "Suggested pirce" is 100 over what they are selling it for. I have my heart set on a Delta 46-460 as I have limited space that needs to be shared with a car!:confused: So no big one here.......................
