Anyone have any experiences good or bad lasering pteg mirror or acrylic mirror thinner than .118 inch?

I am looking at ways to reduce some costs at a customer's request and we don't do anything thinner than .118 at work right now.

If we used something like 0.060" thick it should be about half the cost right? Maybe?

Anyhow, anyone having any experiences good or bad, your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is it even available that thin? I'm wondering if the substrate flexes too much at that thickness and cracks the coating.

The thinner ones would be mylar. I have not seen that thick PETG, I would think PETG that thick will have melted edges when laser cut. Acrylic would be perfect, just make sure the front surface is protected while cutting.
