I roughed out a bowl today and went to put it into my DNA bucket....THUMP!!! ooops, there was already a bowl in there. Thought I had taken it out, so I figure it had been in the DNA for about 10 days.
Anybody see any problems with this?
It's white oak.
Thanks

No problem. I will leave fruit wood in the Dna for at least a week, just to get a "good" soak.

Won't hurt a thing in my experience.

You can soak to short of a time, but you can never soak to long.

I have a 30 gallon tub that I DA soak in. I throw alll sizes of material from pen blanks to large bowls. Stuff gets lost in the bottom of the tub all the time. I left (lost) a lidded box in the DA for almost 4 months. There is no problem with soaking longer.

Won't hurt a thing. I also leave fruit wood in for a week or longer for a good soak. I had a piece of cherry I forgot about for almost 2 weeks. Turned out fine.

I have a curly maple hollow form that has been soaking for a week already - and if I remember, I will take it out today. I have not had any problems with DNA unless I don't soak things long enough!
