Hi all. I live in the Twin Cities Metro Area of Minnesota and have a request: Can anyone direct me to someone who can resaw about 15 feet of Checham (also known as Poisonwood) for me? The boards I have are between 3/4 and 1 1/2 inches in thickness and 6 to 11 inches wide. I don't have a bandsaw big enough to split them. I would like the thinner boards split in half and the thicker board split into three pieces. I plan on using the wood for the bottom of some serving trays. I would hate to plane down those boards to the 1/4 inch or so size I need. It would be a complete waste.

I would be willing to compensate the sawyer for their time. Any help from you all is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Tim

Thanks, Dave. I'm hoping there is someone in my general vicinity but if not, I may take you up on the offer.

I can make the same offer and you wouldn't have to ship it as far. I can even run them through a drum sander too, if you wish.

Thanks, Jay, for the offer. Where are you located?
