The good news is that I only have a few more pieces of this wood left, so maybe I'll start turning something else soon. This stuff checks so fast that I'm trying to get it turned before it becomes firewood.

Mark,
Nice N.E. I really like turning Ash and apparently you do too, since this is a great turning. The contrast between the bark and wood is wonderful . The shape is also very pleasing. Well done.

Mark, it appears that you have great consistency in the wall thickness, and I love the little 'ogee flip' you give these forms. Excellent work, and a beautiful bowl!

Great looking piece Mark. You did well to keep the bark in tact. I always have trouble with that. Nice pictures too.

I love the shape-to me it appears to almost 'float' above the surface. Nice wood and great job keeping the bark on. Good work!

You may be getting tired of turning ash, but I'm not tired of looking at it. This is another great looking piece.

Nice! Good form, and outstanding that all the bark stayed on!
