Hello,
In the past Wood magazine showed how to make crown molding boxes, needed jigs and stuff. Hay I got a dewalk compound miter saw so I can just turn out all sorts of these. Now comes the problem, as I change the outside angle of the box to make it taller or shorter I loose the 90 degee
angle. Is there a ratio to follow as you change the slope you also change the 45 to something else so you end uip with a box??
Thanks
Syd

This book is the best 5 bucks you'll ever spend if you do any compound angles.
It gives info for 3-36 sides and vertical (o degrees) to flat (90 degrees) in one degree steps.

Can't figure out how to get the link right. When you get to the Bridge City site look at their online catalog and books.
the title is "Woodworkers Guide to compound miters"
