Do the LN independence saws come with a lot of set, or are they finely set like the Adria DT saws? Just curious, since the Independance saw is the only one I haven't gottent to try yet.

They're basically identical in set...the Independence cuts a kerf of .026, while the Adria cuts a kerf of .025. They basically both have a set of about .003.

The saw was sort of a reward for completing my self-taught course in hand-cut dovetails. I've been using a (new) Disston Back saw that I tuned to make dovetails. The LN does a great job. Just had time to cut one set this weekend and the saw did very well.
