I just bought new Bryd heads for my Delta DJ-20 Jointer and my Grizzly G0453 Planner. I just received the head for the jointer and it did not come with bearings. I suspect the one for the planer (which will be here Monday) will be the same way. Does anyone know the size of the bearings for these two machines and a good online resource for purchasing replacements? It looks like the ones for the DJ-20 from Delta are $25 a piece. I figured I could be higher quality ones directly from a bearing shop for a lot cheaper and would rather do that. Thanks

Jointer should be 6004ZZ and 6005ZZ and the planer 6204ZZ and 6205ZZ. That is according to the bearing info printed on the Byrd drawings I have.

Forgot to mention, I believe Byrd ships ABEC 3 rated bearings with the heads. So, shoot for at least that rating.

I did this for my 20" planer. I just took the old head w/bearing still attached down to the local bearing supplier
