So some of you probably remember the "what 3 planes would you like to see made" thread. When I said I really wanted a new compass plane made Rob Lee called me out and said if I wanted one he would sell me one that he had just picked up. So of course, I did :D and it showed up today... WOW! It's brand new! (well condition wise) Pretty neat, I look forward to using it. Thanks Rob!!!! You're one heck of a great guy! Especially for giving me such a wonderful deal on it... I greatly appreciate it! I hope you all enjoy the pics, they don't do it justice ;)

Wow, that looks great. I think I'd be afraid to use it.
Do you have plans for it?

You suck!
I've been looking for a decent 020 or 20 compass plane for some time.

I can't believe that it actually prints words on the shavings. What will LV come up with next.

That's a super secret new anti rust shaving.... Shhhhh! I thought it was kinda cool it still had that in the box with it. I haven't had a free moment this weekend to sharpen the iron and give it a try. Yes I have a project right now that I will be using it on, For some reason every time I make a piece of furniture for myself or a loved one it ends up with curved legs on it... Of course now that I have a plane that will work on them, my style will change :D
Very funny Jim :p Funny thing is I can't seem to get the sole flat! LMAO

Rob I'm thinking you should have charged him a bunch, cause when he gets his heat treating process nailed down you ain't gonna make money selling him irons!;)

Oh he still has plenty of nifty gadgets to sell me, I'm generally afraid to go to the website because they have at least 20 things I want... and that's only in 5 mins of looking LOL
Thanks again Rob, it sure is purdy... Now I need to get off my computer and my duff and go use it :D
