I am building a L shaped table (desk) and the top attaches to the plywood end (leg ), what is going to be the strongest joint here seeing as how it is really all that is holding the whole thing together besides a partial plywood back that i think i am going to use biscuits to attach.

thanks for any input

You're going to want some sort of bracing or skirt to support the leg. A simple right angle joint won't be very strong and though biscuit may help, they don't add much strength.

I used a full length spline and pocket screws.

I thought I had a picture handy but I seem to have lost a folder. Basically it is a big L of 3/4 plywood with a 1.25" thick edging. Supported on the back and each end.

As others have mentioned, you have a large right angle with little contact area. Bracing with a back piece (technically, any triangulation) will drastically increase strength. However, a sliding dovetail or a large dado with mechanical fasteners would give you more strength than just a butt joint at the junction.
