The driving force behind this course is Mad Mick Collis from England, the biggest paper boy in the world. He is the owner of the Iquitos Times . Mick walks up and down the streets yelling I am Mad Mick , I am the biggest paper boy in the world , here is my newspaper take it, its free.

No comments on this. I thought it was interesting, anyway.

Played plenty of golf so far in my life, and played some pretty hairy looking public courses, and they never gave me an issue machete in the bag.

Some could've stood to issue a greens mower with a few players to that the putts rolled instead of bouncing and then stopping like they're velcroed as soon as the bouncing stops.

Iquitos was referenced on NPR news this afternoon., something to do with Shaman, an emetic hallucinogenic sludge, rituals and tourism. What with that and a machete required golf course and it's starting to sound like a pretty good party town. :)
