I don't hundreds of dollars to spend on a new saw but I need a new saw. I know Craftsman doesn't have a good reputation on here but they are affordable for me(7 1/2"). I don't need a 10 or 12", maybe the Hitachi 8 1/2 does anyone have any advice on a small affordable scms they can give.

I picked up that little Craftsman 7 1/4 inch SCMS not long ago on sale for $99. I wanted a small one for my small shop (and small projects). It's about the only gig in town in that size. I find it quite decent. For the price, it's remarkable. I even found the laser nice, and I expected to disable it.
