OK, time to build a stand.

To what part of my anatomy should I reference the centerline of the spindle?

Also, to save me some grief, what is the dimension between the feet and CL on the Jet?

And while I'm at it, what size bolts will it accept.

(It is still boxed up.)

Your elbow while standing strait. I built my Mini up another 3” from that due to using it for mainly small and very detailed work. My larger lathe is at elbow height and is very comfortable.

Robert,

Consider purchasing a hydraulic table from Northern Tools or Harbor Freight. The 330 pound models are about $129.00 and you will be able to adjust the height of your table any time you please and roll it around your workshop or park it under your table saw wing.

I'm thinking 4" concrete blocks, wood, and all thread.
