Hi Everybody,
I tried the Trend and it works great buttttttttttt with my neck issues it won't work for me....I hope they will take it back...I have only used it a little....Does anyone have any other recommendations on another respirator? I thought about http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/3m-full-facepiece-7800s-series-silicone-resp... (http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/3m-full-facepiece-7800s-series-silicone-respirator.html) or the http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/3m-6000-series-full-facepiece-respirator.htm... (http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/3m-6000-series-full-facepiece-respirator.html%C2%A0) It must work good, be comfortable and light wt. Anyone got a good idea ???? Thanks Mike

Maybe I can adjust to it too and use it mainly when doing the sanding on the lathe and use something else for my general woodworking!! This is the Trend Airshield Pro. ..the improved model ....The batteries are on the helmet . They aren't very large or heavy but you've got a fan too. It is a good product. .. l have several things in mind cause I'm concerned about my lung health..Thanks everybody for any input !!!.

Also I see they have a no return policy on respiratory products due to swine flu...

I initially had some neck strain, but finally got use to it and now don't notice wearing it. I really like the positive pressure of the cool air blowing across my face. For me it works better than a face shield and 1/2 face respirator.

Sorry it didn't work in your case, if they don't take it back you could offer it for sale here.

Mike I have found the one's you listed to be hot and I get awfully sweaty when wearing them. I sold mine and got the 3M AS-400. Once used to it I don't have a problem with neck strain but did have wallet strain when I got it. I am like you dust and lungs don't work well together.
