I'd call Sean at toolnut. I have no idea what their prices are, but everytime I check on something they seem to come out on top.

I just ordered four Delta 46-460's with stands from Tom at Toolnut. Got free shipping because of the number bought. Price has gone up since I wrote about the differences between the Jet 1220 and the Delta 46-460 in Woodturning Design but my club and two members will be happy campers when they use them as it is a solid lathe.

In all the days since I got mine, I have never seen it under $599.00, I did get mine from Rockler and got a $50 gift card with it and that was the best I have ever seen. I have not looked much lately but as it is a very popular and fairly new machine, no one is getting any deals from Delta so most retailers won't be able to pass on any savings to you.

Good luck and keep looking,

Jeff

I've got my eye on this lathe and have been looking for a couple of months. I'm trying to be responsible to my turning budget <ROFL>, so I will probably wait until late fall....UNLESS...someone finds a significant sale or know of anyone that wants to donate one to a good cause:cool:.
