Just a little closed form bowl (4 1/8" Dia.), but thought I'd post it just because I don't see much Koa posted.

Yes, the two pictures are the same bowl; I just turned it 90 degrees to show the remarkable chatoyance Koa exhibits.

That's beautiful, Frank. I've got a little chunk of that out in the shop, but I don't think it has the curl that your piece has. Koa is one of the prettiest woods I've ever seen.

Very nice turning. Koa is one of my favorite woods. Its hard to photograph the 3D chatoyance and brilliance of this remarkable wood.

Yup..me too. I would have to say that Koa is my favorite wood. It was, even before I started turning. That's a great little bowl with a pleasing form, Frank.

Aloha! That is really nice. Koa is such a beautiful wood. Love the shape and the rim. Good job.
