I have been putting off a 4 room flooring project for over a year now because I just couldn't force myself to spent 250-400 bucks for a new one of these tools, that I'll probably never-ever use again. Finally found one on CL the other day and bought it for 60 bucks. Can't even rent them for a weekend for that price. :D

The plate below the blade in only half a circle. It adjusts in height with 3 wing nuts. You guide/glide the saw over the floor on this plate The guard on top or the blade is the blade guard that retracts as you reach the depth of your cut.

If'n ya get done with it in the next 6-8 months I'd be interested in buying it from ya. I got aa flooring project that on hold right not becasue I injured myself fall backwards into the tub (from the outside of course).

I be interested to hear how ell it works! Good find.
