I recently purchased a used Universal Laser Systems ULS M-300 that didn't come with air assist.

The Air Assist kit from ULS is apx $1200 (it does NOT include the compressor, regulator, or water trap) and I'm having a hard time justifying that price for a couple of brackets and some tubing.

While the M-300 CAN do computer controlled Air Assist, I'm happy to reach over and flip the power switch on the compressor manual.

I know I may have to purchase a few components from ULS, but does anyone know of any aftermarket, used, refurb resources for such things?

I may consider making something myself, or if you have please let me know how you did it and what were the results.

If you happen to have one for sale and/or a cutting table, please let me know.
I'm located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

Thanks!

Robert,

I know that this company High Lite Technologies used to make an aftermarket air assist kit for the laser systems.

I am not sure if they still do but you can try contacting them.

(208) 442-0755 ask for Ron Blake

I would look at Mike Nulls cutting tables good price, good value.

Thanks Mike,

I got a hold of Ron and he said his kit is for *PRE* M-300 stuff. DOH!

So, I'm still on the lookout for an aftermarket or used air assist.

I just need the brackets and cone components. None of the electronics, valves, etc.
