This is a bowl I just finished. It is maple around 15" in dia. It is finished with salad bowl finish so it can be used for food. The pictures aren't as crisp as I like. My camera fogged up today, when I pulled it out of the bag in the ustairs of my shop where I have my photo tent set up. It must have been 120 degree's and the camera was cool from being in my house.

Nice! Everyone's already said how nice the form is and how amazing the wood is. What I like about this is... well... everything. But the subtle rim. It's perfect and elevates this bowl to a whole 'nother level.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The wood is some of the nicest I've turned. A mail man saw the tree cut down and let a friend of mine (that turns) know about it, lucky for me he didn't have time to go get any and let me have it. The best part of this bowl is that I still have 3 smaller cored bowls from the same blank to return and finish.
