Bonkers, ya gotta love 'em. A fun beginner project (not to say that experts don't make 'em too), and quite handy. Let's see what you all got. Please post pictures of some of your favorite bonker works here in this thread. I'll start with two of mine:

I'm a sucker for a bonker thread. Dogwood 9.5" high and 3" in diameter. Remember its not the size that matters....it's the technique! :)

Sean, nice bonkers. I really like the critter that's peeking around them too.

Here are a couple of bonkers that have both done some serious bonking. The one on the left was actually one of my first turnings, oak from an old pallet. The one on the right is almost as old and is Osage Orange (if you've ever wondered how dark osage will get over time, this is the natural color, just aged).
