After I finished my furniture clamps, this was my first project. We had a very old cheap patio table that I had on our screened in porch. I've wanted to replace it for years....well, I finally got around to it.

158023 I cut come sample pieces for my octagon and tested them. I made a template for setting the jointer fence.

158024 After I had the angle perfect (almost), I layed out the pieces and ran duct tape along the top and bottom of all the pieces. Then I turned the whole thing over, put glue in each joint and simply rolled it into an octagon. After I had the top and bottom secured, I put and extra couple of layers of tape around the top and bottom and then added a row in the middle.
