I have asked a lot of odd questions, and here is today's...

My daughter asked me today if people with dentures flossed their teeth. I was completely stumped. It looks to me like most dentures are made with the teeth really close together, causing difficulty flossing, but that is just conjecture.

Anyone with the real answer out there?

I don't have much experience with dentures (yet) but I imagine cleaning them is not really a big problem. Some may be even dishwasher safe, and microwavable, just to be sure the job is doe right.

Handsoap and brush.

Yes you can use floss. I watch an old guy use it to get chewing gum out from between the teeth in his dentures........every night......before I....er he goes to bed.:o
