Some of you may have remembered my WineO I posted some time ago. Since then it seems that's all I have been turning. Here is my most recent WineO

Made form figured Walnut and Box Elder.

Jeff, what a great idea! I like the color and I bet those make great wedding gifts. How do you do the glass part? Can the glass bowl be bought.........or do you have a pile of broken stems in the back of your shop?;)

I don't know where Jeff got the glass, but you can purchase glasses designed for you to turn the stem. Here's a link to CSUSA's offering: http://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/store/Projects___Kitchenware___Premium_Glass_Stemware___ premium_stemware?Args=

I'm sure others sell similar items.

I also agree with you Steve and Josh on the wedding gift, as a matter of fact I'm in the middle of making a "Wedding WineO" and glasses for the whole head table. they are also being sold for Birthday, and Christmas gifts, seems i can't make them fast enough.

Josh, you can buy the no stem bowls form CSUSA as David stated but I have been buying wine glasses by the case and cutting the stem off..so i had to laugh when you asked about the pile of stems out back.

Also if anyone is a reader of Woodturning Design Magazine you just might see my WineO sometime in 2011. Thanks you for your comments.
