i'm in the restoration field,and spend alot of time trying to match finishes in old homes.we usualy are replacing pieces that have to match or matching to existing in other rooms with new product.i will mix stock stain colors to reach our goal. have anyone used alcohol/shellac based pigments to do this and if so did you have success.any info would help,thanks.
