How much do you compress the power feeder wheels when you set up for a run? For 3/4 stock I set my wheels 1/2" above the table compressing the wheels 1/4". Is this about right or to much?

Instructions for mine say compression/tension should be 1/8" less that the stock.

I'd say most of the time I end up right around 1/4" on the wheels, I seem to put more pressure on the wheels when I raise panels. I use less pressure on style cuts or smaller edge profiles.

I set mine 1/8" to 1/4" below the work piece height.

I use the smaller setting on small pieces, or when taking light cuts, the larger setting on larger pieces, heavy cuts and climb cuts.

Regards, Rod.
