Air Cleaner Height?

I see that there are various places to place your air cleaner. Which is the best placement? High, low or in between?

Rob, Right wrong or otherwise I have always had mine, (JDS 8-12), hanging from the ceiling (8 ft.) As close to the ceiling as possible. It's that tiny stuff that floats for hours I'm after. Cough, cough. :)
