A little table I made from walnut with a bird's eye maple "sun"
Kreg jig construction with the front piece just setting in a saddle joint.
I routed out the character for wood.
Danish oil and wax.

Very nice! I keep planning on doing an "Asian" piece but always seem to have something more pressing to do.

Nice job Mark.. I am not very well versed on Asian furniture but that is an interesting design.

I like it. How do you make the top end pieces? Router cove and roundover on the other side? I see they sit in a rabbett.

I really like that one. Great twist on the approach to breadboard ends and nice solid proportioning. "feels" very stable visually. I am also a fan of mixing lighter woods with walnut.
