Funny thing, I have Arial Black Italic in my word processor but when I try to use it in corel (x5) there is no option for Italic. Any ideas??

Thanks

Can you see & use the "Arial Black Italic" font in any other program? If not, you might not have a true "Arial Black Italic" font installed. Your word processing program is simulating an Italic font behind the scenes. You can do the same with CorelDraw and Skew the font in your Transformation Docker. (I have posted this solution in other posts that you can search for more step-by-step details.)

AFAIK, there is no real italic version of standard Arial Black. But in Corel, just double click on a text block (into "rotate" mode), grab the top handle and slide it to the right to slant the text. In the lower left corner of the window it shows the degrees of slant (so you can match mutiple blocks if needed). Quick and easy.

Thanks John

I used the envelope tool but your method is much easier for sure. Learn something new everyday. Thanks Again

Here is what I have for Arial Black Italic. It shows up in X4.

Not sure if it will help or not...
