It seems as a flatworker I never can throw anything of size into my burn barrel.
Today I spent some time and cleaned up my lumber rack... Long over due.
And this was the result.

157375

A little over 50 blanks... And up to 10" in diameter, 8/4 and 10/4
Not the biggest but now I've got some stock to play around with.
QSWO, cherry, walnut, zebra, and bubinga.
Next will be to cut up the scraps to make a gazillion blanks for stoppers...

That ought to keep you busy for a few hours...

That's a good looking stack of wood. I'm glad it didn't make it to the burn pile.

Gary, like I said in the email - the phrase is "former flat worker!!"

When a man cuts up perfectly good lumber to make rounds from it, that is prima facie evidence of a woodturner. Never again will you be able to say "I am a flat worker and give an honest response!!":D;)

Let's see....you own ONE tablesaw....and TWO lathes....hmmmmmm!!

Way to go, Gary!! I love to see a serious "woodturner who occasionally does flatwork" clean up! :D

I spent part of the afternoon with my chainsaw, cleaning up the front of my shop. Your pile sure looks prettier than my pile Gary!! :D

Hmmmmmmmmm. Looks to me like you've got enough wood there to turn miniatures into the next century. :D
