Willow

Has anyone turned willow. I got a few pieces today from a tree that blew over in my daughter's yard. Does it turn well...what does it look like after being turned.

It's very stringy wood but you can turn it so long as your tools are sharp. The stuff I have is full of pink and reds. I have heard that willow can be quite boring figure wise but sometimes you get lucky.

Turn it and have fun.

Willow has been said is stringy but can be a good wood to turn.
