Thought you might enjoy this picture from my current project, building a simple horse care tote for my wife to carry stuff around at the barn. I tried out Frank Klausz's dovetails from Hand Tool Essentials.
This is first dry assembly, no glue, 5/8" pine, all carefully balanced:

I'd say his method works! I suspect it could have easily held a lot more, but I didn't want to risk damaging it or having it all fall on my foot.
