My father recently acquired two antique firearms that need buttstocks. He has tried getting replacements through a company in Tennessee and was unable to get butt stocks that match. We are looking for any other companies that make gunstocks or woodworkers that make gunstocks. Unfortunately we do not have the original stocks to copy. Below are the specs for the guns:
Modern Gun. Winchester 30-30, Model 94 Win. Serial Number (S/N) unknown, manufactured probably 1911.
Black Powder Shotgun. Winchester Repeating Arms Company, Model M1887 (stylized, impressed WRACo on left receiver side), 12 Gauge shot gun, lever action, Patent Feb 16, Jul 20, 1886, S/N unknown, manufactured probably 1887.
Any help or info would be a great help, please post or pm me if you have info.
