Just finish sanded and put one coat of Polymerized Tung oil on it
It is just a small turning, 7½" X 5¼" with a ⅛" thick wall but for the undercut rim and the foot/bottom :)

I'll be gone for a week or better at my son's place in Kanata (Ottawa) to help him with some building project, should be fun, but I might not have much time for on the Computer

C & C welcome of course :D

Time working with your son is priceless, have a great time! This is quite an unusual bowl, but I do like the design and just enough figure & burl to complete an attractive turning. Well done:)

Leo, your work always has such clean lines, and the curves are always so graceful!! And, I gotta get me some of the polymerized tung oil!!

Pretty wood and an interesting form. I enjoy seeing your creativity in the forms you turn.

I must agree. It does have a unique form out of some great wood.

Nice lines, nice finish, with just enough figure in the wood to make for a good looking piece.

Thanks for all the kind responses Guys' I'm going to reply here in one post, rather than all individually, got to get to bed, tomorrow morning these kids and grandkids are going to get me up early :D :):):)

I wasn't too sure of the form, but when I was done with it I felt it did work. but I still am looking at it if I can improve on it, might try another one a bit different, as long as the inside is not hollowed yet I can always still change it ;)

Having a great time here, and the weather is just nice :D
