Can anyone tell me if this dovetail jig is worth messing with?
It is a stanley model 60A.
Right at about 20 bucks...
Thanks for any info.

I used one several years ago at a local cabinet shop. It was a nice jig. You cut tails & pins in one pass. I believe that the template that is pictured on the dovetail jig is for cutting 1/4" dovetails.

Would I be correct in saying this might be good for learning and using on small boxes then?
Thanks for feedback

There's a Creeker (actually ... TWO) who MIGHT have experience with that exact DT jig.
Does this look the same to you ?

If so ... might have good info for you.

Yes it would. You may even be able to find a 1/2" template for it. I have seen the templates for sale. I believe the jig was sold with a 1/2" template & the 1/4" template was an option. It is a good price.

I also have one of those. Haven't used it yet, but it's a great jig to learn on.
You can pretty much use these instructions.
