Corel X3 question

Is there a way to draw an object, lets say 12 x 24 inches, with dimension lines and then shrink it down to fit on an letter size page to print and it keep the original dimension sizes? It seems the default is for the dimensions to shrink proportionally as the drawing is scaled down, I would like to keep the original numbers as I scale it to fit the page.

You can "fit to page" when you print and the dimensions won't change. No need to scale the drawing.

Right click on the dimension line or extension line, not the number, and Break Linear Dimension Apart.
