About 7 minutes into the video is a shot of Horse Tail Falls in February. Makes me want to go camp in the cold.

When my father was alive, we used to travel to his house for Thanksgiving. Then on the way home, we would camp along the Pacific Coast. We would often find the camp grounds practically empty after the Thanksgiving weekend.

I was in Wyoming for labor day weekend a few years ago. I thought about going to Yellowstone but was concerned about the crowds. Asked around and was told "go, the crowds will be gone". Sure enough, they were. School started right after the holiday so all the families were close to home. Worked out great.

That is true.

When the kids are in school,

quiet camping is the rule.
