2 axis base (sequence sketchs)

A couple of people asked how the base was made for my art challenge piece. Maybe these sketches will make sense.
After the lower portion was turned, some hand work was necessary to blend the surfaces.

Hummmmm-----having a Mustard Monster sitting out in the shop a person could do something big this way. Now if I just could figure out where to get some extra time before I forget this.
