Yup we make toys also------no nails or screws just glue and dowel pins.
The tow truck is our newest toy----even the wheels and smoke stacks are turned. We spent way to many hours making these to ever show a profit but they are fun to make and there are a few folks who still buy this kind of stuff.
We did something different this time by using 7 different types of wood.

Gary, those are awesome! What size are they? Would one of them fit into a Flat-rate box?
PM is my next thing to do. :)

Allen these are the biggest toy we have ever built. Just guessing over 18 inchs long.
I will post a pic of one when we get one finished---the neat part---it's a real toy---not a dust collector.

Great looking toys. What do you finish them with?

I like the trucks a lot. I'd have never guessed they were that big.

Gary,
I make "Willys Military Jeeps" like that. They sell real good.I doubled the size of the first one and now I'm doubling the size of the second one and it's about 3ft long. Not finished with it though.I've got some plans around here somewhere if someone would be interested. I designed the trailer myself.PM.

Here's a pic of one Wrecker done---it only has one coat of finish but you get a better ideal of the size.
